In this book, Silly Willy Winston takes on his alter ego as Explorer Snout. Together Explorer Snout and his BFF Livi explore the Mojave Desert. They learn about the desert and what animals do to survive. During their adventure they discover how many different deserts there are in the world. They learn that no two deserts are alike. Some are big, some are small, some are hot and some are cold. This awakens their curiosity and they are off to explore the Gobi Desert. Why the Gobi? Because it was were dinosaur eggs were first discovered - and still exist today! They also discover some rare animals that only in the Gobi survive.
