출판사 설명
In a world where zombies roam freely, Anita Blake, a renowned expert, finds herself facing a terrifying new threat.
Anita Blake makes her living off of zombies—but these aren’t the kind she knows so well. These creatures hunt in daylight, and are as fast and strong as vampires. If they bite you, you become just like them.
Micah’s estranged father lies dying, rotting away inside from some strange ailment that has his doctors whispering about “zombie disease.”
What could this mysterious disease be? Where will it stop? Even Anita Blake doesn’t know.

Four and 1/2 stars
It was soooo nice to read an actual book without a million pages of sex. This book definitely reminded me of the Old Anita with a chunk of the new grown up Anita. Definitely worth the read.
Diminishing Returns
At this point, each book in the series contains less and less of a plot and more and more sex / relationship drivel.
Wasn't the book before this one based on the main character missing her period?
It's too bad. The author could have gone the Glenn Cook route and turned her protagonist into a dark god (remember Croaker and the Black Company?).
I wouldn't read it
Sounds like a wannabe World War Z but this one is boring
