Afro-Brazilians

Ten years of studies addressing racist discourses towards Afro-Brazilians and their social representation on means of mass communication (especially in advertising). More than a celebration of this important personal milestone, this publication aims at adding a contribution towards the advancement of the understanding of Brazil’s enduring racial inequalities. This collection of abstracts is certainly of interest to students and social scientists across different areas of specialization including sociology, ethnic and racial studies, criminology, social psychology, social policy, communication, cultural studies, among others.
