Amusing and Steamy
Entertaining with an interesting premise
Hmm. Have I saw this cover before?
The cover of this book is strikingly similar to that of “The Royal Elite Series”. The only difference being that the picture has been swamped to a mirror image. It may also be a lighter tone of color. I sure hope that permission was gotten before use.
The sweet girl and the mean girl
This is the sixth book in the Enemies-to-Lovers series and it features Michael Nelson and Jenna Peterson. It all started with the accidental death of Jenna's brother Ben. That tragedy changed a lot of people and not for the better. It created a dual persona for Jenna. Not a mentally unstable one but just two sides of her that she uses to deal with the grief and guilt. The public mean girl and the private nice, sweet, caring girl. Michael has seen both and he wants the sweet girl. How does he get the sweet girl when his sister has been on the receiving end of the mean girl? I love that Tabby didn't instantly forgive but didn't instantly say no either. It's hard to reconcile the mean girl with the sweet girl.
Fantastic story line! The romance was so strong that without meaning to, it overshadowed the rest of the story. That I could be so sucked into the romance that I don't give much thought to what else is happening. Great writing!
