Afte the storm
Good but not as good as the ones preceding it. 4 stars!
Original author obviously didn’t write this book.
I highly doubt the original author of this series wrote this book. The group dynamics were wrong. I’m from the south and southerns don’t speak the way they had Donovan speaking in this book. The was no chemistry between the lead characters and the story was pretty flat. If I had to guess, they company used a ghostwriter, and American English was not their language.
Least favorite in the series
...which was disappointing because Donovan was one of my favorite of the Kelly brothers. In this book, he’s comes off a little creepy, and there were no moments of levity that some of the other books had. I missed Donovan’s irreverence. Anyway, I ended up just skimming the last couple of chapters. I hope Swanny gets a better treatment in the next installment of the series.
