Good but not as good as the ones preceding it. 4 stars!
After the storm
I really don’t think Banks wrote this one. It was disjointed and flowed very poorly. The Obsessive nature of the main character was odd in terms of his character development. The language in the books was strange and almost like English wasn’t the writer’s first language. All and all it wasn’t good.
Least favorite in the series
...which was disappointing because Donovan was one of my favorite of the Kelly brothers. In this book, he’s comes off a little creepy, and there were no moments of levity that some of the other books had. I missed Donovan’s irreverence. Anyway, I ended up just skimming the last couple of chapters. I hope Swanny gets a better treatment in the next installment of the series.
