Aftermath

After 30 years of hard drinking something has to give. In my case it was the brain. I have four major psychiatric diagnoses. General undifferentiated Anxiety Disorder, Explosive Personality Disorder, Major Depression, and the newest and most troubling Bi-Polar Biology. In the spring of 2009 something started to happen, racing thoughts where there had not been racing thoughts for year, an unusual form of depression, rapid emotional swings, irrational thoughts all culminating in a series of horrible events thatwere followed by severe depression and loss of self esteem. This book contains poems written during this latter period with its few ups and many downs.
