Ain’t No Saint Nick

Twenty plus years as a Tier 1 operator is ended by one missed IED. In pain, alone, and without a plan, CPO Chris Nichols retires to a sleepy mountain town as far north as he can get without a passport. Nick, to his friends, wanted nothing more than to retire to the great white north and enjoy the peace and serenity that comes with a life well lived. His dream home comes with one little caveat: he has to pick up the mantle of the previous owner and play Santa to the community each Christmas.

Begrudgingly, Nick agrees and his quiet retirement goes off the rails. He had no intention of falling for the girl. He certainly didn’t want to become Santa Claus. He had no desire to go toe to toe with the Mountain Mafia. But Fate is a fickle bitch, and Nick finds himself thrust in the middle of all of it. A trail of not-so-idle threats leads to bloodshed; how many bodies have to be dropped before Santa can call it a day and go Ho Ho Home?
