Air War Vietnam Part II - Plans and Operations 1969 - 1975

In 1976, the USAForce produced a series of 17 monographs that detailed the history of the War. These studies were classified as being Top Secret and were only recently released to the public.

These remarkable documents contain a wealth of historical data that explain the background and reasoning behind many controversial decisions. Many books have been written about what happened in the skies over Vietnam. These monographs tell us why and how the decisions that shaped the war were made.

The narrative that emerges presents a very different story from the picture of the Vietnam War that is commonly accepted. This second volume for 1969-1975 describes the hight of the war and then the search for a negotiated end to the conflict and the final defeat of South Vietnam.
