New York, Geneva (AirGuide - Airline News Africa / Middle East) Jun 13, 2010 Alleged terrorist sympathizer tried to exit U.S. with fake TSA credentials. Barry Walter Bujol was arraigned Tuesday on federal charges after a two-year investigation by the FBI. Bujol, who lives in Texas, allegedly called al-Qaida operatives his "brothers" and said he wanted to die alongside them. In e-mail communications with a radical Muslim cleric, Bujol allegedly advocated attacks against weapons manufacturers in the U.S. An FBI informant gained his trust in late 2009, helping him obtain forged TSA identification cards that got him into the secure area of a Houston-area port and onto a ship headed for the Middle East. Agents arrested him on the ship. Bujol pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, a federal judge ordered him held without bail. Jun 9, 2010
