Terse but cogent biopic of an insightful 20th Century writer. Camus sought in his life, literary musings, novels, and plays a question that remains unanswered even today: what is man's true nature when truly awake to the horrors of existence? Like Dr. Rouex in Le Peste or even the depth of Charles Ives' The Unanswered Question, Camus peered into to the infinite abyss fearlessly and experienced the Absurd but persisted in his life's work. The World would be better place if such explorations of both mind and spirit were truly digested.
