Originally delivered as a lecture in English and Cantonese to a general audience at the Hong Kong City Hall on November 6, 2001, the first half of the book gives an overview of the history of alchemy and spiritual movements. It takes a look at the transformative power of gemstones and shows an individual how to find stones with the most positive influences. The second half of the book goes deeper and explains how astrology influences a person’s psychology and personality. It also presents alchemy as a metaphor for yoga and transcendental realization, supported by references from ancient Sanskrit texts. Fascinating and informative.
