In 1964, Congress passed the Wilderness Act. The Act allowed for the creation of land designations that preserved nature in its original state - where man is a visitor and does not remain. On its 50th Anniversary, author/photographer Larry Johansen explores the 18 wilderness areas created in Southeast Alaska's Inside Passage.
