Cat’s Halloween takes an unexpected and potentially lethal turn.
Vampires are real… And a whole bunch of them live in London.
The only reason Cat even agreed to attend the stupid Halloween party was because her roommate Shelly did not want to go alone. Upon almost falling into bed with the impossibly handsome host she gets spooked and leaves.
This was all a big mistake! She should have followed her gut and stayed home. And now Cat can’t shake the feeling she’s being followed wherever she goes...
Alexander Broderick has been hosting his annual Halloween parties for over a century. While his contemporaries use them as an excuse to engage in all kinds of debauchery, his own motives are more benign. He wants to converse, to get a feel for the times he lives in through its people.
But when Cat walks into his house, he forgets himself and seduces her. There’s only one problem: she’s a so-called Blood Bride - a mortal woman whose blood smells so delicious that every vampire in town wants to drain her.
He knows he’s the only one wanting to keep her safe, but can’t act as long as she wants nothing to do with him. And then there’s his own growing hunger to contend with.
Can he protect her from the rest of the vampire community, as well as his own lethal cravings?
It’s the ultimate forbidden romance; the love between a mortal and a vampire. What is it that makes flirting with death so utterly tempting? One-click and find out. Readers of Tina Folsom, JR Ward and Christine Feehan will also enjoy the Vampires of London series by Lorelei Moone.

Alexander's Blood Bride (Vampires of London #1) by Lorelei Moone
Cat and Shelly were given an exceptional invitation to an exclusive Halloween Party, In Kensington Palace Gardens, London's most expensive street. Which meant they had to go shopping for a costume for Cat. No matter how hard Shelly has tried over the years, she hasn't been able to convert Cat the homebody into the life of the party like herself. But as a celebration to getting her new job Cat decides to go anyway. They are shocked at the house they pull up to the mansion.
Alexander Broderick's Halloween party's have evolved over the last century. They now include humans and are known for the *sex, blood, and rock 'n' roll(*directly book quote). Not only does Alexander see and smell, but feels when Catherine(Cat) walks into the house, but the air seems to change with her entrance. He notices other vampires notice her too. *He has to get to her before anyone else does, he has to have her, discover all there was to learn about her, intellectually, physically, even spiritually. *Her touch seemed to burn through his tuxedo right into his skin, almost painfully.(*direct book quotes) After showing her around the mansion they gravitate to the master suite. Everything is fine, until she removes his mask and looks into his eyes, then she flees the mansion. Shortly afterwards Alexander clears the house telling everyone in attendance the party is over, including the other vampires in attendance, which is totally unlike him. What is it with this girl that causes this reaction to him? He finds out later that night when one of the Council visits him, telling him they need to find her because she is an extremely rare human Blood Bride. Alexander knows he wants her, but has to find her to protect her from Julius their maker and the oldest and highest ranking vampire that currently walks the earth.
Cat continues to dream of Alexander, in her dreams it's revealed he's a vampire. It doesn't scare her anymore, but she knows she's blown her chance with him after running out the way she did on Halloween. But she feels someone watching her, and knows instinctively that Alexander will protect her. Alexander on the other hand has no idea how or where to find her, but knows he needs to get to her before anyone else in the council does. Will they meet up when he has no idea how or where to find her within the city? You'll have to read ALEXANDER'S BLOOD BRIDE to find out. I enjoyed reading this story and cannot wait for Lorelei Moone's next story in this series MICHAEL'S SOUL MATE (Vampires of London #2), that's due to be released November 2016. I received an ARC copy via IndieSage in exchange for a blog tour review. *It’s the ultimate forbidden romance; the love between a mortal and a vampire. What is it that makes flirting with death so utterly tempting? Read on and find out. This story is intended for adult audiences only. (*directly from book)
This was a good read, but should have been longer.
