Anna Zamorska’s studio. A table was spread with a jumble of four-by-six-inch color snapshots of the landscape in Northeastern Nevada. Spring in basin and range country. The table was circled by young Polish artists bent over, examining details, pointing here at dusty sagebrush or there at an outcropping of rocks blanketed in glowing orange and green lichen. Conversation was all in Polish. A boy frowned and passed a photo to a girl who grinned.
