Great beginning of a new series
This a first read by this author and this series and it was a great beginning of this series. I enjoyed this read and the world building and it sets the scene fo future books . We have our big sexy and sweet warrior males amazed with our human women. Our human women are smart and sassy and very unlike the evil queens they are use to. This thought them for a loop. I looking forward to the next book in this series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Great start to the series
This was such a fun read. I throughly enjoy reading about aliens and abductions, especially if the aliens have dragon features. Always a plus in my book. So this book about Draconians was fantastic.
Larok is such a good male. He knows the life he has to live is unfair but hopes and wishes for something more. Hope comes into his life and immediately brings that hope to his world. He is loyal to his family and is such a gentle, humble male.
And I loved Hope. She was amazing. Optimistic, level headed, quippy, and more than willing to show these males how to find that better life. And she isn’t leaving anyone behind. She is strong and brave and I loved her.
This was a story that had a lot going on, but for the most part I followed right along and it definitely stayed interesting. Love the side characters as well and can’t wait to read their stories too. It is an open door romance book but she writes them well. Loved and definitely recommend.
Yes Miranda Martin took this series over from Juno Wells with permission. I never read that one so I don’t know how much Miranda has changed on it. It’s still a great book for me.
I did receive an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.
What a fabulous story!
Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! Amazing world building! Wonderful character development! I was sucked in from the beginning and read the book in one sitting. Highly recommend.
