Alive

In 2001, a little-advertised “digital singer” named Amber Griis started recording her first album.  The album was released through the then-new iTunes Store, and continues to spread to new and inventive online music stores to this day.


"Alive" takes a step beyond the forefront of traditional music and book distribution, borrowing a concept from software development: users don’t have to wait for an application to be completely finished before getting to use it.


This book is the story of Amber's latest album, as it's being written.  It includes the songs, in their current state, with lyrics and images.  Using the unique platform provided by iBooks, this book evolves - it will update itself automatically on your computer, iPhone, and iPad.  The pages will change as the album and story is developed.  The songs will change as new versions are created.  New pages and songs will be added.
