Alkali's Monster

Every campfire story has an origin; a shadow on the water, a sound in the dark, a tragedy with no explanation. The legend of Camp Alkali is no different. Stories have been woven over the years about a beast that lurks beneath the surface of Lake Alkali. Generations of folks have told tall tales of Alkali's Monster with nothing but their imaginations to guide them. 

Eddie used to be one of those people, but now, he's seen things that others refuse to believe. After the events of the previous summer, Eddie isn't to be trusted by his fellow campers or the camp counselors. When kids start to go missing, Eddie knows that his chance to clear his name is within reach. Not even a run-in with the lake's monster will stop him from solving the mystery of their disappearance once and for all.... Right?
