Not a “True Crime” book - complete waste of money
Book was published prior to the trial and reads more like a sociology student’s thesis about lacrosse, WASP privilege, domestic violence, and freedom of information. I learned more about the case from a google search. Purchasing this book is a ridiculous waste of money!
terrible. not worth the money
I love true crime books and this one was a big disappointment. books should not be written until the conclusion of the case if possible and this book is a good example of why. the book is filled with just that... FILLER that has nothing to do with the murder. if you are interested in this case I would suggest ANY other resources (Wikipedia would even be better) that being said the book provided a lot of the history of UVA if you're into that kind of thing which I was not.
