All Chained Up is a new direction for the amazing Sophie Jordan. Knox and Briar first meet while he’s an inmate at the prison where she’s a volunteer nurse, a reluctant volunteer at that, but from the moment they meet they both know there is something forbidden between them. When Knox is given early parole he’s determined to forget about the beautiful but uptight nurse from Devil’s Rock, too bad he can’t. Briar knows that her attraction to Knox is something that she has to fight, if for no other reason than its intensity scares her and she’s vowed to move beyond a life of fear. After a chance encounter their chemistry explodes in a way neither one expected…or can say no to. Knox knows he’s not what Briar needs or deserves but she what he needs. Briar wants so badly to show Knox that she’s willing to take a chance but there’s that fear again. All Chained Up showcases Jordan’s skill at weaving a completely compelling love story. She take the ultimate anti-hero and turns him into the real deal and takes the sheltered, frightened heroine and turns her into a seductress and protector. Deep emotion, sensuality, and humor, all the trademarks of a Sophie Jordan book, are present in All Chained Up with a touch for danger and darkness added to make it perfection.
