All for a Piece of Bread

One must never believe a flatterer. This is the valuable lesson that the foolish crow learnt, but just a little too late perhaps The crow has a piece of bread, which a wicked little fox wants. With a little flattery, the cunning fox manages to trick the crow into dropping the piece of bread. If only the foolish crow knew not to trust flatterers!
