Publisher Description

An unprecedented and timely collection of Dr. King’s speeches on labor rights and economic justice

Covering all the civil rights movement highlights--Montgomery, Albany, Birmingham, Selma, Chicago, and Memphis--award-winning historian Michael K. Honey introduces and traces Dr. King's dream of economic equality. Gathered in one volume for the first time, the majority of these speeches will be new to most readers. The collection begins with King's lectures to unions in the 1960s and includes his addresses made during his Poor People's Campaign, culminating with his momentous "Mountaintop" speech, delivered in support of striking black sanitation workers in Memphis. Unprecedented and timely, "All Labor Has Dignity" will more fully restore our understanding of King's lasting vision of economic justice, bringing his demand for equality right into the present.

O Keeys ,

Asynchrony emphatic hope

I titled this as a way of summing up that each determined effort wholly transitioned hope as part in work of emphatic tribulations. I tend to feel to accepted are definitive to being sought and must welcome the realization of like minded strivers in a dedicated art for peace. "All Labor Has Dignity" treated me in assumption of difficult and voracious struggle for healing perception; I feel stomped in the loss of a brother of color and in my early awakenings to history I didn't adhere to much conditions of knowledge. As the forthright to commensurate with each tragedy from a birds eye view, I lessen what attains hurt with sympathetic solitude and prayer versions that bring into common ground a mends with way more than I can conquer. A fundamental of his passing was truth being told and learning how mends are faction progress is illustrious for haven passion from my source of healing intent; if such tremendous stories yield moderation without harm then his ethic heeds my solidarity for this studious timely cleave in beneficent honorary focus tolling the live and learn culture formula, filled safely and worthwhile to not be wrangled among the veteran lost and vile attacks. To iterate, I desire that lives can and must have saving way before denoted strain takes our building blocks of planetary strength and prosperous servicemen by any contaminant wrongdoing. May all of our citizen aims be deemed for those continue in the worthy cause of hope and triumph in the know of seeking through what is rated tests of many becoming optimally inclined. I once saw a motor in graphical diagram function and it works so mechanized that many of our pops need the united hum well digressed for maximizing abilities that we dignify into versatile infinities that truly yield the ultimate fathom.

I close in the helping exit of united songwriting: As she says, "We are one, heartache to heartache we share..."
