I grew up with these stories
It’s an honor to finally get these stories in print. I hope somehow the children who used to scream in fear “The skunk lady is coming!” when my mom walked her pet stinker “Pootie” come across it and remember when the world moved at a slower tempo and kids ran wild with their pets.
