Wow!
Even though this book was published before, this is my forst time reading it. And I am so glad that I did. Another perfect love story. Lydia and Kennedy.I don’t know how Rochelle does it. Once I started reading, I could not put the book down! Finished it in a few hours.
Lydia is an independent fireball and Kennedy is the easy going gentle giant. He knows what he wants in a relationship but Lydia doesn’t know that she wants the same thing. But as the onion layers are peeled back, they start to realize that they’ve been looking for each other all this time.
Lydia says that she doesn’t want marriage and kids right now but she becomes a mother figure for Kiki and Mustafa. Kennedy isn’t sure of his father abilities but is doing a very good job of meddling through it. His obstacle… his father. They both had to get past their respective pasts in order to move forward with each other.
Please read this story if you haven’t. It’s a must read.
