''All Passion Spent'' is the celebrated 1931 novel by British author Vita Sackville-West that serves as a meditative exploration of aging, independence, and the reclamation of self.

The story follows Lady Slane (Deborah Lee), an 88-year-old widow of a former Prime Minister and Viceroy of India. After a lifetime defined by her husband's public career and the needs of her six children, she shocks her family by refusing to live under their care. Instead, she retreats to a small, crumbling house in Hampstead to finally live on her own terms.
