From New York Times bestselling author Erin Kellison, All That Glitters is the first science fiction romance in the exciting and passionate adventures of the Sol sisters.
Cheated out of a fortune by the Sol royal family, lowborn Simon Miner will do anything to get his revenge, no matter how ruthless. When Princess Mica Sol, a terraforming expert, is shot out of the sky on the way to her sister's lavish wedding, she fears the worst—scavengers—and flees into an alien jungle to avoid capture. But the man who pursues and captures her is none other than Simon, her former lover. Passions reignite as violence rocks Sol City, and Simon and Mica must fight for love, family, and their world...or lose everything.

All that glitters
As an avid reader of Everything Erin Kellison, I was excited to read her science fiction "All that Glitters". The main characters, Simon & Mica, are past lovers who haven't seen each other for 4 years. You get the feeling it didn't end well when he blasts her ship from the sky into the dangerous jungle of Sol. Things go wrong right from the beginning but Mica doesn't believe Simon could have changed so much from the boy she loved. Although I wished there was more back story and information on what happened before Mica left it's still a very good story and I would recommend it. I very much enjoyed the ups and downs of the story of Mica and Simon on the intriguing world of Sol. The story starts a little slow but then grabs your attention and I definitely wasn't able to put it down. I highly recommend reading this first book of the Sol Series.
Mica was going home for her sisters wedding. While getting ready and doing some heavy thinking she was shot down. Thankfully she had emergency supplies and started out on foot for the way station. Bare foot and in some pain but worried about being caught . Simon had no idea who he shot down until he found her tag . Leaving his team to make repairs he set off to find her. Little did her family know they were in danger as they prepared for Pilars wedding.
This Sci Fi romance was a gift from the publisher for a honest review. I can't wait to read the next in the series I was kept on the edge of my seat with this one
