Explore the beginnings of the Woodes-Hastings family, from the Norman Conquest to the 13th century.  It all starts with William Phillip de Hastings, originating from France, who joins the Norman army, conquering and later settling on English shores.   His descendant, Roger Alexander Woodes-Hastings, is a pig farmer from the shires. Due to an indiscretion of his father, the family had become outcasts from their home.  A cousin, also descending from the Norman army, Sir Pym Aolfe Sans-Brys, has taken over the home and intends to keep it for himself.  How can Roger regain his beloved home and family honour?
