Publisher Description
A playful deception, a long overdue rebellion, a most eligible bachelor…
A standalone contemporary romance
Tara Pierpont has had it with her interfering parents who want her to find a rich guy to marry just like her older sister did. She’s ready to rebel against them, and a chance for her rebellion appears in the form of a handsome waiter at an exclusive Hampton’s party.
When Jay Bohannon attends the anniversary party of his friend’s parents and is mistaken for a waiter, he wants to immediately clear up the misunderstanding. But then Tara opens up to him and confesses that she’s sick of entitled rich guys and just wants to have fun with somebody who wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
The thing is: Jay is anything but poor or ordinary. He’s exactly the kind of guy Tara is trying to avoid.

A little deception is sometimes a good thing...
One Long Embrace (Eternal Bachelors Club 5) by Tina Folsom was a great quick read. This is the first book from this series that I have read. The book can be read as a stand-alone from the other books in the series. I am sure that you would get more background information about the Eternal Bachelors Club, if you had read all the books in the series but it not necessary to enjoy this story. This is the first contemporary romance that I have read that was written by Ms. Folsom and she does a great job. I have read her paranormal romances and thoroughly enjoyed them. I will have to add the rest of the books to my TBR list. The plot in this book is well written. The characters are developed and the story and interactions are believable. It is easy to empathize with Tara, trying to get independence from her parents, while they are constantly putting roadblocks in her path. For Tara growing up rich and privileged is certainly an eye-opening as to why she would want the opposite of the guys in her social circle. Jay is certainly likeable. He is wealthy but wants to be accepted for himself. His reasons for deceiving Tara are understandable, even if you don’t agree with him. The personal interactions between Jay and Tara are off the charts HOT. I would certainly recommend this book and look forward to reading more contemporary romances by this author.
On a side note – I think both Tara’s parents need a good swift kick. Snobs.
I was provided with an ARC of this book for an honest review.
No More Rich Playboys!
Another great book in this series. Jay wanted a woman who would love him and not his money. Tara didn't want a rich boy. Loved that they found each other.
