It’s Almark’s first summer vacation at the Norkh Institute for Magic, which is when most students go home to their families—except for Almark, who hails from the distant North, and Morgan, whose parents are preoccupied. So when their friend Wendy invites them to her estate in the capital, the two boys gladly accept!
