Is marriage in this rock star’s future?
Rock star Griffin Huntley longs for the one thing he never had—family. And who better to give it to him than his girlfriend, manager, and muse, Christina Olsen. But when his New Year’s Eve marriage proposal hits a sour note, Christina flees his limo in the middle of Manhattan, leaving Griffin fearing the worst.
Christina has been burned in marriage before and knows marrying Griffin would be the kiss of death in their relationship. Just look at the disaster with his first wife. But when Griffin is spotted in the press with not one but two beautiful women, Christina has a few choice words to say. To his face.
Only what she discovers is a secret from the past taking over Griffin’s life. Can two people with scarred hearts ever leave their pasts behind or does fate have other plans?
This feel-good romantic comedy stands alone with a swoonworthy happy-ever-after! No cliffhangers.

Second chance at love
Almost Fate by Kylie Gilmore is a beautifully written heartwarming story of second chance love and the importance of belonging to a family. I loved rock star Griffin Huntley and his antics in Almost Married by Kylie Gilmore and in Almost Fate he is doing everything he can to get the Christine the women he is in love with to marry him. Christine is in love with Griffin but doesn't want to marry him because she is afraid that he will cheat on her like he did with his first wife and her her exhusband. After a public display of asking her to marry him Christine takes a break from Griffin and then he disappears. What's a girl in love to do - is find him! On the break Griffin finds out his dad just died and he has a half sister. I highly recommend reading Almost Fate and you will enjoy reading it. I received this book for free for a honest review.
A great addition to the series
This is the story of Griffin and Christina. Griffin is a rock star and Christina is his manager. I liked the fact that they were already a couple when the story began and that Christina was the one who was commitment shy. As Christina works through her issues, Griffin discovers he has a half sister. She plays an important role in the plot but I found her character to be a little immature for someone who is twenty-nine. However, that fact doesn’t detract from the story. Overall, the novella had good flow, a solid plot, and believable main characters. Rock on!
Beautiful love story!
I loved Christina and Griffin's story and seeing how they dealt with putting their heart on the line. This is the first story I have read by this author and can't wait to continue with the series.
