Alva

She's the key to victory…for her enemies.

Three millennia ago, a devastating war split humanity. Now, in the dark of the Below, the brilliant young scientist Alva and her people the Rodents scratch out a meager existence, while Above, their enemies the Snakes enjoy a life of plenty. But plenty isn't enough. A power-hungry Snake officer seeks to capture Alva and use her to destroy her people…and overthrow his own leaders.

Assisted by her life-mate Surge, a young soldier of astonishing agility, Alva seeks to unravel and thwart the plot against her. But then she uncovers a greater threat. The Snakes have already subverted her friends and are using them in their campaign. Worse, they've stumbled upon a mysterious device that could once more devastate the planet. They need Alva to unlock its secrets, and the only way she can stop them is to submit to their control.

Alva is the first season of Dale E. Lehman's tense, page-turning science fiction series Rodents.
