The best way to ruin a perfectly wonderful friendship?
Have sex with your BFF.
A mistake.
That’s what Troy calls what was easily the single best sexual experience of my life. He claims our "slip" was due to too much alcohol. I respond the only way I know how, which is by burying the entire experience under a six-foot mound of denial and regret. Lesson learned.
When I’m finally in a place emotionally where I can move on with someone else (it takes me two years), Troy does a complete about face. Now he wants me. And he wants more.
That should have been the end, right? I’m getting what I’ve wanted since I was sixteen. But devastating news turns Troy’s life upside down and soon becomes my cross to bear. And the only way I can get back everything I lost is to bare it all. Literally.
Now my boyfriend may be a progressive, twenty-first century kind of guy, but when it comes to his girlfriend posing nude for Playboy?
He's 100% Neanderthal.

Great read!
Great read!
Disappointing…and I loved the other books in this series!
I absolutely loved the first two books in this series as well as the spin off book “Trapped.” I was excited when it finally had a release date since it had been delayed several times over the last year and a half. And, I had been following the author on her FB page and she commented a few times that she was struggling with the story. So, with that said, maybe that contributed to my disappointment? Not sure.
But what I am sure of is that I was bored reading April and Troy’s story for most of the book. The first half of the book is just the back and forth between them and its plain boring. And, then just when they get together, you have this very odd and bizarre (in my opinion) plot involving their families. What? This is the “angst” in the story and for me, it just didn’t work. Then, of course, everything gets wrapped up quickly and you have an epilogue that is 10 months later.
The character of “Em” is introduced without much introduction at all except that we are told she is April’s BFF. Again, what? This person was never mentioned in the other two books. I can only make the assumption that the author tossed in this character to continue this series due to the fact that she is mentioned in the epilogue with “Graham” and states “that’s a whole other story.” I honestly should give this a 2 or even 1 star rating but because I enjoyed reading about Liv and Zach and Scott and Becca, I can’t seem to do so. Personally, I think the author lost interest in April and Troy’s story and it shows in this book. What a bummer! Especially after such a long wait.
Always been you
Love love love this book. I couldn't put it down all day!!! Can't wait for the next book to come out.
