No, just walk away
I was so tired of Ariel by the end of this book. Would like to see other characters developed. Or give more info on outcomes—did Dylan lose his job for having admin alter bank records? Miles and mystery woman gets explained in one sentence—she’s my sister. Charlene is one dimensional. Doris sells her house to Mayor that she says ran Ariel’s father out of town? And how old is this mayor and how long in office that he could have done something to make father leave 20 years ago? But he’s young enough to have a teenage son? I could go on but I’ll stop there.
