Always

This town is my own personal hell.


It has been ever since I was a kid, ever since my mom left. She left my brother and I with our abusive father and never looked back.


I tried to protect Gray, to keep him safe, but when money got tight, I had no other choice. So I enlisted in the Army and spent the next six years being stationed far away from Rosewood, Colorado.


Now I'm back in my hometown. I'm here to bury my father and sell his house and then I'm getting the hell out of Dodge.


Then I run into Evangeline “Evan” Rauley and all of my plans go out the window.


She's beautiful with curves that have my mouth watering. She makes me feel young again. She makes me want things that I'm to sure I deserve.


If it were any other town, I wouldn't hesitate to make her mine.


But this is Rosewood and it's filled with nothing but bad memories for me.


I want Evangeline with me for, well, Always, but can I really stay here?


When push comes to shove, will I be able to stay in this small town or will all of the demons from my past be too much for me?
