Am I Crazy? How Can I Know?
Publisher Description
There is an old fairy tale about a witch that poisoned the village well, making all the people go crazy. The king had his own well in his castle, so he didn't go crazy. When the townspeople discovered that the king thought differently than they did, they decided the king must be crazy. They formed a mob to kill the crazy king. But he arranged to drink from the poisoned well and become as crazy as the townspeople. Now everybody was happy because the king was normal.
The moral of the story is that "crazy" is a matter of perception, not of science. Normal is whatever the majority think and do. Anything else is abnormal, whether it is better or worse.
How can you know if you are crazy or not?
People ask the doc, but he just listens.
