Am Ok In Ok

Claire Bryte Cloud is finally working on her book and finds Quaker Meadows much too busy to have the quiet time she needs to concentrate. Two of her old boyfriends are in town and vying for attention - both of them trainwrecks but there just the same.

Claire decides to take the Shine Sisters up on their offer to spend a few weeks at their ranch in Oklahoma to get some writing done. Claire flies out and by the weekend Bett and Sal Shine promise to treat her to the best Saturday night ever. They even say you haven't lived until you've had an Oklahoma Saturday night.

The weather changes their plans and the local tavern becomes Plan B. At first Claire isn't happy but then she meets Adam Fishinghawk. They dance to the jukebox and Claire hates to leave him at the end of the evening.

Claire meets the Shine Sister's "Part Time Sheep Boy" and he becomes a good friend as they talk of their lives together.

The weather intervenes in their lives - after all it is Oklahoma. The time in Oklahoma ends with a surprise.
