Publisher Description
Angel Doyle, semi-reformed thief and accidental P.I., is back for a second adrenaline-fueled adventure.
Angel and her friend and sidekick, Sidney, are thrilled to get their first official assignment for the Omega Group, a super-secret international P.I. agency co-run by Angel’s mother, former adult movie actress Desirée Chablis. The agency’s mission: to recover a cache of stolen Egyptian artifacts for a prestigious auction house before an international gang of art thieves can sell them at a black-market auction.
With just seventy-two hours to locate the cache, Angel and Sidney are eager to be in the thick of the action. Finally, Angel will get to prove to Luc, the annoyingly hot ex-military P.I., that she’s just as skilled an investigator as he is. Instead, Desirée sidelines Angel and Sidney, making them bodyguards-babysitters for the auction house CEO’s bratty teenage daughter. The only upside to the job is the gorgeous setting. Who can say no to a free stay at a luxurious chalet in the Swiss Alps?
Anticipating a weekend of chocolate, cheese, and breathtaking views, the last thing Angel expects is to find a corpse in her bath. The duo soon faces an ambush, a snowmobile chase, and a literal ticking bomb. By the time Luc rolls up at the chalet, injured and expecting a peaceful recuperation, Angel and Sidney are knee-deep in snowdrifts and dead bodies. Can they escape the mountain before the bomb triggers an avalanche?

Ambushed In The Alps
A delightful story with Angel, her background of a semi thief, maybe a PI and disaster trying to learn how to knit. If that’s not enough she is rooming with others and the cat at least is friendly. A new boss at the yarn shop, saying how can you advise if you don’t know about yarn or how to knit. An assignment to watch a teenager, is only the beginning of the mayhem that follows. Delightful and definitely one to enjoy reading. Given arc for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
Another amazing adventure!
Another hilarious adventure with Angel and Sidney! They are trying to prove themselves to her mom so that they can be official PIs.
They find themselves on two missions – one to solve a one to babysit a 16-year-old.They try to figure out their case to solve as they travel on their way to the teen. There is one mishap after another on their way to get to the teen.
Once they get to the chalet, they find themselves in a snowstorm where they are stranded, also there is no way to communicate with anyone outside of the chalet. As one dead body after another begins to be discovered, Angel is suspicious of everyone- including those on her team.
This is a fantastic mystery to try and solve. Lots of twists and turns! Cannot wait for the next one especially since Angel has a choice to make at the end of this book.
Fun Mystery!
What a fun mystery with Angel and Sidney trying to become PI’s! Running around the Swiss Alps and finding dead bodies. This book moved very fast and was a lot of fun to read. This is the second book with Angel and Sidney and I think even better then the first book which I loved! Looking forward to the next book in the series!
