Awesome reading
Really enjoyed the common sense ideas proposed by the author. Common sense seems to be missing in Washington these days. One of the only ideas I really disagreed with was his proposal for flushing out insurgents in Iraq. You don't burn down the house to kill a rat. Other than that this book is a solid read and very enjoyable.
Great Book
Finished this book today; just before Dr. Carson is scheduled to be on the news. This was a very easy read for me; I had expected a lot of ten and twenty dollar words. It is worth reading no matter what your political affiliation is. Carson/Rubio 2016?
Inspirational!
Dr. Carlson, thank you for your inspirational life story centered on values that build character and for your faith in God. Both Black and White youngsters need role models like you. I will get my grandchildren to read your books to learn about what hard work provides and to appreciate the values upon which our nation was founded.
