American Dipper

It is a book of the life of the American Dipper, told with pictures, videos, and personal experiences. There are more than 150 pictures, and over 20 videos that capture the complete life experience of the American Dipper. Sixteen chapters of dipper fun. 

The book was written for every reader, a child of five to the mature and experienced birder, it is a fun book for everyone.

Each picture and video shows in great detail what the dipper eats; how they build their nest; how they interact with each other; how much they love the rivers where they live. See the nestlings being fed; see the fledglings being fed, and how the parents get their young ready for survival in the wild. See why the American Dipper is the happiest bird in the world.

Each chapter begins with a video, that relates to the chapter. The videos will show you how they bathe, preen, and hunt for food. Watch the parents feed their young, and see the fledglings start their long adventure.

The book has a map to where I was watching the dippers. There are four different questionnaires, with a total of 35 questions. There is an interactive image and a puzzle to play with. The book concludes with a video of the author explaining why the dipper is such a happy, free bird.
