Stefano Versace is an expert in finance applied to the real economy.

He founded Stefano Versace – Gelateria Italiana & Gourmet in 2013. The company later changed its name to Stefano Versace Gelato and it’s now the biggest gelaterie chain store in the USA, with the highest growth in business in its first three years of business.

Today, Stefano Versace Gelato owns 31 stores, and will soon be opening a few more shops, not only in the US, but also in Dubai, Iran and China.

Stefano Versace began his working life as a broker, first in the insurance field, then moving on to finance and has worked for the most influent international financial companies in Italy and Venezuela, such as Marsh Italia. When the crisis started in Venezuela, he decided, along with his family, to go back to Italy and start a fine dining establishment in Urbino. But he quickly realized that Italy is not a good country for profitable businesses, so he came up with a new plan: founding the biggest chain of gelaterie in USA. He devoted himself to this very ambitious project full time, every day, until he achieved the success he has worked for.

Nel 2013 ha fondato le STEFANO VERSACE - Gelateria Italiana & Gourmet, oggi Stefano Versace Gelato, la catena di gelaterie italiane negli Stati Uniti con la più ampia crescita nei primi 3 anni di attività. Oggi conta 18 gelaterie in franchising a cui presto se ne aggiungeranno altre non solo negli Stati Uniti ma anche in altri Paesi come Dubai, Iran, Cina.

Stefano Versace nasce professionalmente come broker, dapprima assicurativo e poi finanziario. Ha lavorato per le più importanti compagnie a livello internazionale di brokeraggio finanziario, dapprima in Italia e poi in Venezuela. Quando il Venezuela entra in crisi decide di rientrare in Italia con la famiglia e di aprire un ristorante. Ma ben presto matura la convinzione che l’Italia non è un paese dove fare impresa ed elabora un nuovo piano: aprire la catena di gelaterie più grande degli Stati Uniti. Un progetto ambizioso che ha perseguito giorno dopo giorno con determinazione fino al successo.
