Publisher Description
The story of a boy, a fox, and a lot of fan service…
Kevin Swift has the worst luck with women. It’s not that he’s unattractive or even unpopular. He just can’t talk to them. He blames it on all of those shōnen love comedies that he enjoys watching. Fortunately, or unfortunately―depending on who’s asking―Kevin’s love life is about to start looking up.
After saving a fox, Kevin discovers that he actually rescued a kitsune, a shape-shifter capable of transforming into a beautiful girl who appears to have popped right out of the pages to a shōnen manga. Her name is Lilian, and she’s decided that he’s going to be her mate―whether he likes it or not!
Customer Reviews
Excellent!
I have listened to the audiobook for this last month and enjoyed it. And since I wanted to find out what happens next but no audiobook for the second volume; I decided to read the volumes. It has not disappointed and it is nice to have illustrated pictures this time. The story is good and humor is on point in this book. I look forward to reading the next volume.
Please continue making the audio books
I loved this so much, keep up the audio books please.
A Great Start to a Fun Series
The first foundational brick in the American Kitsune series. I’ve just started my re-read of the series, with the first book, it serves as a foundational book, introducing our main Character Kevin, to a world he would have thought previously was only fictional. So at this stage, his world is turned upside down, with a beautiful Kitsune, who he thought was a fox was rescued and declares him to be her mate. Looking back on it as a re-read its fun seeing some of the references that will be made clear later on. I know I’d enjoy seeing it as an anime. It’s a light and fun read overall.
