American Trails Revisited

This edition in the American Trails Revisited series is an updated version from the printed book, "American Trails Revisited", published in 2003. From the original 36 pages, this revision has been expanded to 90 pages of additional information and points of interest. Also added are reference maps, text navigation, as well as GPS coordinates for listed historic sites and landmarks.



This guide travels the route of the Santa Fe Trail from the outskirts of Kansas City to Dodge City, Kansas, where it splits to explore the northern Military branch and the southern Cimarron branch. Detailed background information for Santa Fe Trail history as well as the general historical background of the region is provided in easy to follow mileage increments across the Sunflower State.
