This is yet another of the delightful books written by Grace Livingston Hill . Her books can make you laugh and cry- sometimes both. Her books are written from her own Christian perspective. They are also written in a different time. I think You will likely relate better if you are familiar with customs and times in the 1950’s or slightly before. But a good book is timeless! Her books can often be found in 2nd hand book stores if you want a cheep view. Also ,the online price is not bad.
