AMPed

This is a must have manual for all parents and educators! There is something in this book for everyone. The framework can be used with any age learner. It is user-friendly and thorough. Wish I had AMPed as a resource years ago. :-)

Loved AMPed!

This book is going to influence my classroom A LOT next year. It is designed to be visual and easy to read (so it is great to skim!), and AMPed has plenty of ready-to-use elements for helping students brainstorm. I especially like the “inverted triangle” and “elimination bracket" for brainstorming. The book has also has a great way of explaining productivity best practices in the business world (like STAR, SWOT, SMART, and idea pitches) in a way that teachers and students can instantly get. I am really excited by the whole school approach to AMPed Festivals, as well as the clear timeline with checkpoints based on Design Thinking (Inquire-Play-Rethink-Reflect-Share). I can imagine an entire school putting together a successful AMPed Festival. But even as an individual teacher, this book is relevant on a smaller scale to my classroom.
