Magical new series

An Air of Deceit is book #1 in the Hollow's Glenn Coven Mystery series by Kristen King.

I really enjoyed this book. The pace was good which isn’t always th3 case in the first book of a series. Autumn and Simone are well-developed, likable characters. I was drawn in to the story right away and it kept my interest throughout. I look forward to reading future books in this series.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A cozy book for the whole family!

I read “An Air of Deceit” along with my nine-year-old, and although I got more out of it than he did it was a great family read. The book is very cozy, helping us both get into the spirit of the fall season as the leaves turn colors and we start getting the jackets out for the walk down to school. The author’s descriptions of different foods are mouth-watering, and as a fan of other “magical” books I really appreciated the author’s ability to keep the characters grounded in reality while showing off their elemental powers.

Great read! Great intro to all the characters, can’t wait for the next one in the series.

witchy book

Very cute witchy book. I liked the world of magic, but I wasn’t captivated constantly in the book so it’s definitely not a series. I will keep on reading.
