I really enjoyed this book but sad to hear of Dan Peek passing. I will no doubt see him again in heaven. My first concert ever was 1975 in Miami. Poco an America.. where are you Debbie? Great music and great memories. Thanks for the memories America!

AWESOME Book.
I feel like I know Dan;I wish I could have have met him.
I have hardly read any books at all in 61 years of my life, HONEST!

I always loved America,as I was about their age in the early 70s when Horse With No Name came out. I immediately got the album,and played the tape player of it in my car often.
Earth is Lonely without him,but God had better plans,and took Dan home to Heaven,that's For Sure !
You can go there too,if you will just BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST,& TRUST HIM ONLY TO FORGIVE YOUR SIN.

An American Classic
Dan Peek's journey from a kid who loved making music to his edge-of-your-seat conversion to a follower of Jesus Christ is simply outstanding. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed even only one or two of their songs. It will give everyone a real appreciaton for what prolific musicians need to do in order to stay on top in a dog-eat-dog business.
