It may be due to the ever-growing list of suspects, a number of threatening letters, or the surprise visitor who breaks into her house at night. But she’s never backed down before, and she doesn’t intend to start now.

Pure Fantasy
I loved it, even though so much of it was impossibly perfect! The wonderful doctor, the impossibly rich laird, the impossibly close friends made so quickly, the obvious murderer, etc. I really fell in love with these people!
One cavil: It was as though the proofreader lost the thread in the latter part of the novel, referring to Emilia the heroine as Amelia, Ewan the hero as Ethan, and other puzzling errors. ???
