Publisher Description
Some promises are forever…
Hugh McInnis, trying to escape the past and the present finds himself at an auction, his attention fixed on a Norwegian beauty intended for the highest bidder. He wished he could say what possessed him to bid on Dalla.
Dalla was intended for a convent—punishment for disobeying her father—until her uncle intercepted her journey and put her up for auction.
A stubborn quiet Norwegian woman and a grumpy Highlands man have no business traversing the landscape. Not together, anyway. Yet, that's exactly what they are forced to do.

Fantastic book
What an adventure. At times I didn’t think they would make to safety. The best part of this book is that there were no sex scenes. Good clean story. It was great!!!
Too Many Loose Ends
The relationship between the two main characters of this story is quite sweet. The storyline itself, however, made no sense. This woman is kidnapped in Norway and sent to Scotland to be sold into slavery. Her uncle is behind the kidnapping but it is never explained why. It also is never explained why he follows her to Scotland just days later and tries to kill her. If he wanted her dead why not just kill her out right in Norway. Supposedly there was no one there who would have cared. And what happened to her loyal maid and companion?
Lots of questions posed throughout the story but no answers provided. The kidnapping plot just never makes a lick of sense.
Great!
