I’m a newly married woman. A queen who is adjusting to her role. And, at the same time, I’m learning to love my husband, Kylan, the High King. Or at least respect him. He is a passionate lover, both zealous and jealous. Wildly jealous in the moments he suspects I still love his twin brother, Rylan. I reassure Kylan in the best way I can. Rylan is the evil Fairy Queen’s captive. And he’s dying. He’s no threat to Kylan. Not in the way Kylan believes.

 

Kylan is learning to rule without Rylan’s help and powers. I’m pleased watching him grow into a great leader. But as Kylan becomes a better man, a better king, those around me who seek power are growing greedy. There’s insanity in the air. And my sister has caught it. She wants me dead. She thinks she can replace me as queen.

 

All around me, darkness echoes and bounces. And shouts and turns a deeper shade of black. Jezellion, the evil Fairy Queen, has loosed it upon us. And it’s only a matter of time before she unleashes the full power of her madness…
