All you want is for them to realize they want each other. You just want to shut her brother up. Hope they get a happy ending.
Where did Pike go?
Billie has had a crush on Pike since she was 14, but he is 4 years older and also her brother’s best friend. She has just turned 18 and finds out Pike has broken up with his girlfriend and decides he is going to be her first. They end up in the back of his car, but then guilt kicks in and he leaves without telling anyone and joins the Army. He writes her a letter explaining everything but her brother reads the letter so Billie nor Pike ever know.
When Pike returns 4 years later, he is confused that neither Billie nor Morgan want to talk to him. It will be interesting to see if the misunderstanding can be cleared up.
A little tropish, but there’s potential.
Book One so far follows a classic, girl loves older brother’s friend from a far, grows up and tries to impress him, only to have her heart broken. The he returns to town years later....
