A little tropish, but there’s potential.
Book One so far follows a classic, girl loves older brother’s friend from a far, grows up and tries to impress him, only to have her heart broken. The he returns to town years later....

Nice story line that moved quickly yet held some suspense. Billie and Pike are a match made in heaven and the respect they have for each other comes through loudly.
